Bhuwan Chalise: Bhuwan Chalise is an urban resilience and sustainability professional with over decade of hands-on experience in planning research, spatial analysis, and participatory development. He holds a BSc (Hons) in Environmental Science and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Urban Studies at Kathmandu University, focusing on inclusive planning and climate adaptation. Bhuwan has worked closely with municipal governments, development partners, and academic institutions in Nepal, contributing to data-driven projects in urban waste management, e-waste policy, and circular economy design. Skilled in both qualitative and quantitative methods, he regularly applies statistical tools (SPSS, Power BI) and GIS technologies for field-based research and evidence-based reporting. His work includes drafting policy briefs, organizing community workshops, and supporting multi-stakeholder consultations aimed at strengthening ecosystem-based adaptation and climate-resilient urban development.
